Overview: Commonwealth Senior Living is looking for a Senior Accountant to be part of our Finance Team.
The Senior Accountant provides general accounting services to assigned communities.
The job duties and responsibilities include the following:
· Responsible for completing month-end and year-end close procedures for assigned communities
· Reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts and workpaper preparation
· Preparation of financial statements
· Preparation of financial analysis comparing actual to budget results
· Accounts Receivable
· Accounts Payable
· Preparation of annual budgets
· Other on an as needed basis
Job Qualifications:
· Associates/Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
· 4-years accounting or bookkeeping experience
· Prior experience working in the senior living industry or property management industry is a plus
· Proficiency in working with Excel
