Part-time Bookkeeper

Carpet Plus is looking for a part-time bookkeeper to work on-site for approximately 15 hours per week.
*Duties will include:* *Accounts Payable* * Entering bills payable into the accounting software * Reconciling bills with received inventory *Accounts Receivable* * Forwarding final invoices to customers for payment * Applying payments to customer invoices * Researching and assisting in collection of payment when needed *Payroll* * Processing weekly payroll and distribute paychecks * Entering payroll information into the company accounting software * Tracking vacation and holiday pay *Reporting* * Assisting President and Controller in preparing financial reports * Researching red flags and variances *Human Resources* * Helping set up employee payroll * Assisting in collecting new employee paperwork *Sales and Admin support* * Answering phone calls when sales team is working with customers * Assisting the sales team in keeping the showroom clean and neat * Greeting customers when sales associates are unavailable * Picking up mail at post office *Qualifications:* * 5+ years’ experience in accounting or business administration is a must * Must be willing to work on-site approximately 15 hours per week * Detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, team player * Background check and references * Proficiency in QuickBooks is a plus * Customer service or retail sales experience is a plus * Experience in flooring or construction is a plus, though not required *Rate*: Potential earnings estimated at $21.
00 to $23.
00 per hour, with the opportunity to earn company stock.
