Job Responsibilities:
Perform transactional accounting tasks, encompassing Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R) functions.
Conduct reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness across various accounts.
Manage transactional accounting for multiple companies, maintaining organized and accurate records for each entity.
Contribute to the month-end close process for timely and accurate financial reporting.
Utilize QuickBooks for day-to-day accounting operations.
Leverage advanced Excel skills, including the use of formulas, to analyze and manipulate financial data.
Conduct general ledger reviews to ensure proper coding and accuracy in financial entries.
Participate in reconciling general ledger accounts to ensure alignment with financial statements.
Skills Requirements:
Demonstrated expertise in transactional accounting, specializing in A/P, A/R, and reconciliations.
Familiarity with overseeing financial activities for multiple companies.
Proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced Excel skills, including the adept use of complex formulas.
Capability to actively contribute to the month-end close process with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
Experience in general ledger review, with a focus on ensuring precision, though not necessarily involved in the creation of journal entries.
Possession of strong analytical skills and a meticulous approach to the reconciliation of financial accounts.
