Cardinal Home Center is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to support the daily administrative operations of the Crozet & Charlottesville locations.
The ideal candidate must be a diligent individual able to undertake a variety of office support tasks.
This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion.
Candidates should be able to assist management and customers to the company by handling office tasks, while providing polite and courteous assistance via phone, mail and e-mail.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Delivering cash deposits to appropriate banking institution
Processing accounts receivable payments & applying customer credits/returns
Balancing daily cash drawer and completing daily cash reconciliation
Preparing daily cash deposit and processing remote deposit
Assisting customers with account inquiries
Document archiving
Process cash and charge account applications
Assist with monthly statements at Madison location, as needed
Reconciling & invoicing special orders
Answering telephone, as needed
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Accounts receivable experience, preferred
High School diploma or equivalent (minimum)
