Full job description CRHA’s Youth Program Coordinator (YPC) seeks to provide services and experiences that promote community health and well-being for CRHA’s youth program participants.
The YPC is responsible for helping foster experiences for all CRHA youth that provide meaningful opportunities for growth while respecting and reflecting the diversity of our community.
Assists in developing and managing partnerships with community, nonprofit, religious and educational organizations and other stakeholders to identify and address needs and gaps in youth services for CRHA program participants age \_\_ to \_\_\_\_; identifies and solicits participation; attends meetings; prepares and facilitates workshops; moderates discussions and decisions; answers questions and provides information; maintains related documentation.
Directed and supervised by the Deputy Executive Director, the Youth Programs Coordinator is responsible for planning, administrative coordinating, and other direct service provision of youth participating in CRHA’s programs.
Essential Functions * Coordinates event and outreach schedules.
* Administers schedule changes between participants, families and CRHA staff, volunteers and stakeholders.
* Coordinates and obtains client referral paperwork for review by supervisor.
* Coordinates and participates in the new client Intake meetings.
* Maintains all confidential participant files, client case notes.
* Develops, implements, and monitors participant daily programing activities.
* Provides support/oversight to youth contractors and monitors individual progress.
* Organizes community-based activities for participants.
* Coordinates client transportation and assists with transportation as needed.
* Consistently communicates participants overall status and wellbeing to Supervisor and those working directly with client.
* Maintains contact with parents, guardians, care providers and other referral agencies.
* Enters and maintains accurate client attendance, billing information, and required reports.
* Maintains safe, clean, and organized areas throughout the services areas utilized.
* Attends continuing educational programs with recommendation of supervisor.
* Accepts other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000 per year Schedule: * During School Year focus on availability after school with shift during summer to accommodate camp schedules * 40 hours a week * Schedule for this position varies, based on services and coverage needs, including but not limited to weekend and evening hours.
Work Location: In person Experience, Knowledge, Skills:  Minimum Requirements  * Bachelor's degree Recreation, or a related field.
Will consider experience in lieu of degree.
* One to three (1-3) years of recreation program development.
  * Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  * Current certification in Community CPR, First Aid and AED or within 3 months of hire  Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities  * Knowledge of the planning and organization of youth sports instruction and sports safety programs.
  * Ability to resolve customer complaints and escalated problems.
  * Ability to react effectively to all potential mental, physical, and stressful situations inherent to the duties of a First Responder.
  * Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
  * Ability to provide outstanding customer service and get along with coworkers, patrons, and supervisors and interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner.
  * Knowledge of the business and organizational structure of Colorado municipalities.
  * Collaboration skills, including the ability to work with others from different areas and backgrounds to reach a common goal.
  * Computer skills, including the ability to utilize Microsoft Office programs (i.
e.
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
) and learn and experiment with new software and systems.

  * Must maintain a safe driving record and transport youth to community events if necessary Essential Functions:  Personnel & Fiscal Management  * Recruit, hire, train, schedule, supervise, mentor, and evaluate volunteers.
  * Utilize scheduling software and monitor employee hours in accordance with budget.
  * Develop and mentor volunteers and staff to ensure quality instruction and leadership.
  * Assist in the development of program budgets and ensure expenses align with approved budget.
* Develop reports and performance measures in support of Department and Division fiscal goals.
  Program Management  * Create, implement, and manage a variety of recreation programs for both youth and adult populations.
  * Develop program team rosters, game schedules, and coordinate field and facility schedules for events and competitions.
* Ensure marketing materials, website, and social media sites are updated with accurate information.
  * Negotiate contracts with outside vendors, instructors, and other external groups.
  * Track inventory and order supplies and equipment for programs.
  Customer Service & Engagement  * Communicate efficiently and effectively to all program stakeholders through face-to-face, phone and email interactions.
  * Foster and develop principled relationships with community partners and organizations to grow and market current and future programs.
  * Provide quality customer service through the development of principled relationships with participants, community members and various partnering organizations.
  * Transport youth to community events as required Technology & Assessment  * Administer surveys and conduct focus groups to gauge participant satisfactions level, gain constructive feedback and foster ideas for new programs and special events.
  * Effectively utilize programming and scheduling software such as RecTrac, Team Sideline, When2Work, Connect2Concepts, Microsoft office/teams and website.
  Work Environment and Physical Requirements:  * Frequent interruptions and heavy public contact.
  * Required to work weekdays, nights, weekends, evenings and some holidays.
  * Work is performed in an office environment, on sports fields and within recreation facilities.
* Strength and stamina enough to walk, stand, stretch, bend, lift or carry up to 50 lbs.
  * Manual dexterity enough to complete daily work such as operate computer keyboards, drive and operate motor vehicles, and operate other office equipment and complete paperwork.
  * May be required to assist individuals loading and unloading from vans.
