*BHO Camp Counselor is responsible for providing supervision, instruction, and ongoing assistance to campers, during programs and assisting the Lead Counselors in providing instruction and ongoing assistance during programs.

* *Act as an integral member of the summer camp program team *
* *Assist and participate in the following tasks: supervision of campers, administering behavior protocol as directed, administering all medical protocol as directed, verbal and physical assistance, and complete all other tasks as directed *
* *Assist Lead Counselor in implementing assigned programs *
* *Complete and submit all required paperwork by set deadlines *
* *Assist Lead Counselor in assessing program equipment and supply needs*
* *Assist in the care, cleanliness, and security of the facility used by campers during the program *
* *Monitors safety of all aspects of the program and campers *
* *Communicates all pertinent issues affecting the programs to Lead Counselor *
* *Establish good rapport with families of the program campers as well as keeping them informed about concerns affecting the campers *
* *Participate in all required trainings and certifications in compliance with the organization’s standards *
* *Communicate clearly, honestly and respectfully with staff, campers and parents*
* *Create a nurturing, positive and professional environment while promoting program policies and procedures amongst staff *
* *Ability to be flexible, creative and adaptable to situations *
*Counselor Qualifications *
* *Must be at least 18 years of age and have a criminal background check *
* *Must be able to commit to contracted dates from June 1st- August 4th 2020*
* *Must live off-site and commute each day, Room board will not be provided*
* *Excellent interpersonal communication skills; demonstrated history of responsibility, dependability, and maturity; ability to be flexible, creative and adaptable to situations *

* *Current First Aid/CPR certification *
* *Ability to lift at least 50 pounds *

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $565.
00 per week
Schedule:
* 8 hour shift

* Weekends as needed
