We are looking for a reliable and experienced Class A Truck Driver to support our manufacturing and construction teams and ensure timely delivery of materials.
This position will play a crucial role in maintaining our commitment to customer satisfaction.
Job Role: The Class A Truck Driver will be responsible for transporting material and project supplies in support of manufacturing and construction teams.
Schedule: Full-time, mostly home daily.
Will require one overnight trip per week.
Key Duties:
Operate and drive Class A truck & trailer, ensuring timely delivery of loads between vendors, suppliers, and job sites
Pull & operate 53’ step deck, gooseneck trailer & mobile bottling line, including oversized loads
Load & unload cargo, ensuring proper securing & handling of materials
Conduct pre-trip & post-trip inspections and ensure the vehicle and load are in road worthy condition
Communicate regularly with dispatchers and vendors to ensure proper load times are being met
Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations governing commercial trucking, including hours-of-service regulations, weight limits, and transportation permits
Complete and maintain accurate logs, trip sheets, fuel records, and other required paperwork in compliance with regulatory requirements
Prioritize safety by following established safety procedures, using proper safety equipment, and reporting accidents, incidents, or safety concerns
Interact professionally with customers during pick-up and delivery, providing excellent customer service
Requirements:
Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements
Proven experience as a Class A truck driver with a clean driving record
Knowledge of and compliance with federal and state transportation regulations
Ability to operate and maintain commercial motor vehicles
Strong communication skills and professionalism in customer interactions
Physical fitness and stamina for extended driving periods and cargo handling
Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and routes
Ability to pass a drug screen (DOT or otherwise)
Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures
High school diploma or equivalent
