is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Part-Time Instructor for our Registered Apprenticeship program.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing instruction and guidance to students on welding theory based on in-house & NCCER curriculum.
The position requires a commitment of four-eight hours per month, making it an ideal opportunity for individuals looking to supplement their current schedule.

is a premier custom design build contractor for industrial refrigeration systems, providing design, fabrication, construction, commissioning, and service in-house.
Key Duties:
Conduct classes to teach welding theory based on in-house & NCCER curriculum
Host office hours for students enrolled in company self-guided apprenticeship training to answer questions and provide guidance
Offer constructive feedback to students on their welding projects, assisting them in improving their skills and achieving high-quality results
Complete student evaluations on progress in the program
Ensure records of attendance and performance are maintained
Collaborate with the education team to develop and update curriculum materials, ensuring relevance and alignment with industry standards
Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in welding & electrical, integrating relevant updates into the curriculum
Participate in periodic meetings with the education team to discuss curriculum development, student progress, and any other relevant topics
Requirements:
Extensive experience in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and SMAW
Possession of relevant AWS or ASME certifications are highly desirable
Highly prefer theory based experience or education (ex: Mechanical Engineering degree)
Prior experience in teaching or training others in welding techniques or theory is preferred
Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
Ability to work patiently with students of varying skill levels and create an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Willingness to adapt to the part-time schedule and collaborate with the education team
