Premium Service Brands, LLC is a growing home services franchisor headquartered in downtown Charlottesville, Virginia (just two blocks off the Downtown Mall).
Our quickly expanding corporate team is looking to hire an experienced Paralegal to join our existing in-house legal team and who will report directly to the General Counsel.

Responsibilities for Paralegal
Support General Counsel in franchise development, compliance, corporate governance, etc.
Collect, examine, and organize data for and drafting of legal documents for attorney review and business use
Draft and proofread correspondence and legal documents, such as legal correspondence and contracts
Research regulations, laws, and legal articles to assist with the preparation of reports, case files, and legal advice
Communicate with internal stakeholders to make sure deadlines are tracked and met
Manage, organize, and maintain documents in paper or electronic filing systems
Provide general administrative assistance to C-Suite in preparing for and making Presentations, Slide Decks, regular reporting, and other assigned tasks.
Assist with general office functions
Qualifications for Paralegal
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
Associate's degree in paralegal studies, a paralegal certificate, or a Bachelor's degree preferred.
Other degrees/majors/certifications may be considered.
2-3 years of experience as an administrative assistant (preferably in a law firm or in a corporate legal department), legal assistant, legal secretary, or paralegal.
Prior experience in the franchising industry is preferred but not required.
Detail-oriented and highly organized
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and professional demeanor
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and G-Suite.
Ability to work independently, manage a diverse set of tasks and compile relevant information in an on-going basis, and keep deadlines
Successful candidate will be required to pass a background screening prior to starting employment.
Preferred Start Date: Immediately
Starting Salary: $43,000-$53,000 base salary (depending on experience) as well as eligibility for potential bonuses; plus benefits, paid holidays, paid time off, and parking.
This is a full-time, on-site position at our corporate headquarters.
