Peavey Patriot Bass w/ EGC Aluminum Neck - $1,400 (Charlottesville)

Here we have an 80s era Peavey Patriot bass with an Electrical Guitar Company aluminum bolt-on neck.
If you love everything about the bolt-on T-40 conversions and don't necessarily want all of the weight (loaded with all of the hardware and dual humbuckers), this may just be the bass for you.
Even with the swapped neck, it is fairly light, very comfortable and the neck is thin and lightning fast to play.
And the Super-Ferrite pickups that these came loaded with sound great! It's got that growl with some blinged-out chime at the same time.
Not without its fair share of bumps and bruises, but all honest cosmetic wear that comes with age.
The pickguard is cracked around the output jack, but is stable and isn't affected electronically.
The original knobs were long gone and have been replaced with ones from a Rat pedal.
I call this thing the "Rat Riot" and it does not disappoint.
Great for heavier styles of music and virtually indestructible.
Honestly still on the fence about selling it, so absolutely firm on price.
Not really looking for trades at this time, but I'm a sucker for boutique gear.
Original beautiful maple neck in great condition included in the sale, but no case.
