Dog needs new home (Charlottesville)

My brother and family are in the unfortunate situation of having to rehome their sweet dog Benji.
He is a very sweet and friendly American foxhound mix.
He is about 70lbs, house-trained, and has done basic obedience training.
He is very sweet and friendly.
He gets along really well with other dogs and older children.
He is truly a very chill and sweet dog (now 7 years old).
He is up to date in all his vet needs and has been boarded (during vacations) with other dogs without any issues at all.
Benji was adopted from a shelter in 2020 when the family was just my brother and his wife.
The family now cares for babies and a disabled 90-year-old relative who moved in with them.
This means less time dedicated to meeting Benji's needs.
Benji will benefit from a home with a large fenced backyard, other dogs, and people who can give him the space and attention he needs.
He loves walking and being outside.
We have all anguished over what else to do and rehoming seems to be the best decision for Benji.
We will take the time to find the best fit.
Benji should make somebody happy and someone should make him happy too.
