This role will include tax accounting, financial accounting and financial analysis.
The successful candidate will have an ability to learn quickly and possess a very high attention to detail.
Many projects have tight deadlines requiring the person in this role to work rapidly, adapt to change and operate with a high sense of urgency.

Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc.
is a premier custom design build contractor for industrial refrigeration systems, providing design, fabrication, construction, commissioning, and service in-house.
Key Duties:
Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
Update accounts receivable and issue invoices
Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc.
as assigned
Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
Assist with other accounting projects
Requirements:
Bachelor’s in Accounting (Master’s in Accounting preferred)
CPA Preferred
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with a broad range of individuals from different departments
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivated with a desire to succeed
Must be able to take on new tasks with minimal direction and also detail-orientated to handle high volumes of data
Must possess strong problem-solving skills
Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines
Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
Excellent organizational and documentation skills
Other Preferred Skills:
Understanding of sales and use tax laws preferred
Experience preparing complex ad hoc financial analyses
A drive to improve processes
Excels in an ever-changing work environment
Leadership experience or capabilities strongly preferred
Excellent technical skills with MRP system conversion experience
SQL Database query and maintenance experience
