Job Description
ENSCO’s Applied Technology and Engineering (ATE) Division designs, develops and manufactures precision, high-speed, real-time vehicle, and track inspection systems for the national and international railway market.
The ATE Division has an opening for a motivated, self-starting Software Engineering Intern with an interest in a career working in the field of software design, development, and testing.
This position offers a chance to enhance the educational experience by working with a team of engineers engaged in projects to design and deliver software products for real-time and offline review systems.
Responsibilities Include:
-Participation in the development of new web-based applications.
-Helping to enhance the databases to faster the retrieval speed of data
-Participation in enhancing security standards for the existing applications
-Participation in software development for new features, validation testing, and configuration management.

Qualifications Required (Skills)
Currently pursuing a Computer Science major or equivalent with a minimum of 1-year relevant (academic) experience
Familiarity with UI/UX design
Ability to develop multiple programming languages.
Exposure to front-end interaction with MySQL databases, JavaScript Python, and React.
Experience developing software for any of the following Java, R, SQL, and Python HTML and CSS and any Offline data stores.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Good organizational skills

Qualifications Desired
Familiarity with AWS platform
Familiarity with Mysql, MSSQL and any No-SQL Database.
