Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team.
As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients.

Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Conduct oral cancer screenings
- Administer local anesthesia as needed
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
- Assist the dentist during procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic dental software systems (Eaglesoft, Dentrix)
- Follow infection control protocols to ensure the safety and well-being of patients and staff
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive dental care
Skills:
- Proficient in using dental software systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic
- Knowledge of medical coding and terminology related to dental procedures
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and interpretation
- Ability to take accurate vital signs and record patient information
- Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients on oral health practices
- Attention to detail for maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals
- CAD (Computer-Aided Design) experience is a plus for creating digital impressions
